Galaxy⁺ series is a highly reliable and multi-format routing switcher that is available in large sizes. The Galaxy⁺ supports 3G/HD/SD-SDI, uses BNC, DIN 1.0/2.3, fiber interface. Switching sizes range from 16×16 to 256×256. Multiple control interfaces include LAN, CAN and C-BUS. The Galaxy⁺ supports 7RU and 15RU frames. The frame supports redundant control system, PSU and switching system, which ensures the stability and reliability of the system. The Galaxy⁺ uses a modular design, and all the modules are front plug-ins design. The rear of frame is that I/O back matches with the modules. The back uses passivation design and ensures the stability and reliability of the system. It can be upgraded and expanded “online” by selecting signal types of switching module and changing the number of switching modules (front plug-ins).

The Galaxy⁺ control system can perform SWITCH, CHECK, LOCK and SALVO. The system control uses redundant design and uses two control modules to operate simultaneously. If the primary module fails, the backup module can be activated automatically or manually to ensure the stability and reliability of the system. In addition, the Galaxy⁺ is compatible with multiple protocols for many applications.

The Galaxy⁺ uses input monitor and output monitor of bus type. This design makes it easy to monitor output signal status per channel and provides great facilities for signal monitoring and troubleshooting purposes.

The Galaxy⁺ is equipped with reliable power and cooling systems, uses modular design. It uses 24VDC central power supply and can be integrated into telecommunications and cable front-end industries easily. The cooling system uses a group of front plug-ins and has changeable modular with build-in air cooling assembly. The unique air duct design is used in the frame, and the air cooling assembly is put in the central position of cooling system parts and vents to ensure the removal heat of the frame quickly.
